Dixie Muscadine Grape (vitis rotundifolia 'dixie') -  Sometimes called Scuppernong or Southern Fox Grape. Dixie is an old fashioned variety that produces med- large bronze fruit that have a delightful sweet flavor that is fairly low in acid and good for eating fresh, canning, juicing, jellies or for wine production. Very vigorous and productive home garden variety. Ripens in Sept. Best grown in zones 7-9. Live plant in 3 inch container.
