Mirage™ Violet Salvia (s. greggii 'Balmirvio') It is difficult to find purple autumn sage, but Mirage™ Violet doesn't disappoint! A few shades lighter than deep purple, Mirage™ violet features a tidy compact growth habit. Growing to only about 18" tall, this short compact salvia makes an excellent container plant or edging for the front of the hummingbird garden. This salvia provides more color and less maintenance than some of it's larger cousins. Like most salvia, it is heat and drought tolerant once established and blooms throughout the Spring, Summer, and Fall months. Hummingbirds can't resist salvia! Deer resistant too!
