Silver Dollar Eucalyptus (eucalyptus cinerea) - Aromatic silver/gray leaves help repel insects are are used for potpourri, and flower arrangements. Native to Australia, this tree can reach heights of up to 30' tall and 12' wide when grown in the ground in mild climates. A fast growing tree, it can grow 6' or more per year. Eucalyptus does not like wet feet and prefers a high and dry location with sandy soils or good drainage. It is very drought tolerant and insects rarely bother it. Can be successfully grown in a large container indoors provided the tree receives enough light. Do not overwater. Perennial zones 8-11. One live starter plant in 3" container approx. 8" tall.
